余ったパーツで1台組んだ。 I built a PC with my spare parts.
When I was rebuilding my PC, I had enough spare parts left over to build another one, so I decided to do it.
I thought I might rebuild it again in the future, so I made the case vertically separable and stackable for easy expansion. It stacks like a “Jubako” (Japanese stacking lunch box), so I named it “Jubako PC”. The case is secured by latches, allowing for tool-less disassembly.
I also attached a long display I had lying around, which is nicknamed the “Twitter-addict LCD”. I wanted to attach a arm to him and tried a few prototypes, but it didn’t work out well.
The i7 processor generates a fair amount of heat, so I installed a lot of case fans. But since I used cheap ones, they are quite noisy. It seems better to use a single large fan, which should be possible just by printing and replacing the lid part only. I think this flexibility is one of the good points of this design.
PCを組かえていたら、1台組めるぐらいパーツが余ったので、1台組む事にした。
今後、また組み変える事もあると思うので、 拡張しやすいように、ケースを縦に分割して、スタックできるようにした。 重箱のようにスタックするので重箱PCと名付けた。 ケースはロックで固定されているので、ドライバレスで分解できる。
余ってた長いディスプレイ、通称ツイ廃液晶もつけた。 腕を付けたかったので、いろいろ試作してみたが、うまくできなかった。
i7の発熱は結構大きく、ケースファンを多めにつけたが、 安物のファンをつけたために結構うるさい。 大きいファンを1つにした方が良いと思われるが、 フタ部分を印刷/交換するだけで対応できるはず。 こういう柔軟性は良くできたと思う。
